At SBC Park the SANTURCE CANGREJEROS outscored the MEMPHIS REDBIRDS 7 to
4.
 
SANTURCE won the game with a rally in the bottom of the 8th inning when they
tallied 4 runs on 3 hits.  The big moment was provided by Preston Wilson who
made the crowd happy when he emptied the bases with a Grand Slam homerun (his
3rd of the season).  SANTURCE had 14 hits overall, while MEMPHIS had 6.
 
The victory went to Heath Bell(1-0) who went 1 inning, allowing no runs. Bell
got relief help from Bob Wickman who gained credit for his 4th save.  The
loss was charged to Rudy Seanez(1-1) in relief.  He allowed 4 runs and 2 hits
in 1/3 of an inning.
